Positive: Stayed for one night while cycling through Taiwan. Had a room in the main building rather than one of the chalets. Room and bed were comfortable. I was able to bring my bike indoors overnight. Breakfast served as a buffet starting at 6:30am. There is also a dinner available for a small fee (I did not try).

Negative: Relatively thin walls. Still quiet at night given location, but you can clearly hear others speaking or moving in the building during the day. No close stores, though this is to be expected given rural location.

Positive: Needed a spot that was close to Taipingshan Rooms have Netflix access.

Negative: Photos are rather misleading. Place was rather run down and not well run. The staff who attended to us was friendly but didn’t know how to process payment using the credit card. We would have prepared cash had that been stated clearly when we booked. Room was ok but the shower area was a little icky with stains on the tiles and rusty pipes.
