Positive: The hotel was extremely pretty, and my room on the third floor was wonderful. The first floor isn’t reachable by elevator, so people with mobility issues should specify not to get rooms on this floor. The woman on the front desk when we arrived was very pleasant and helpful. The meals in the dining room were acceptable, but not exceptional. This is probably due to the lack of traffic. The breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Negative: The man on the front desk treated my traveling companion really rudely, basically insulting her by implying that she couldn’t understand Italian, which wasn’t the case. The restaurant staff could use a course in creating an inviting setting, not playing a radio during meals and speaking in an appropriate tone of voice.

Negative: I should have worn ear plugs as woken in the am by the little traffic about. (My other half was fine!)
