Positive: Absolutely fantastic lodge, everything you needed for a living was there, location perfect, short drive to MTB , running and walking trails, zip world and to the lovely sandy beach! The area is very peaceful and perfect for rest and recovery from the busy life! Highly recommended!

Negative: There is no WiFi internet access, in fairness this is in the property description but in 2025 (and having stayed in numerous cabins on the same park) I assumed it was a given. The electric hob doesn't work properly as other reviewers have pointed out.

Negative: B9ked one cottage night before we travelled booking .com cancelled it but had t9k all the cash for someone with just that cash would have ruined the hol as took four days and lots of hassle to get it back.

Positive: Great beds and bedding and towels, very clean and comfortable. Nice and bright.

Negative: The hob didn't heat up sufficiently to boil water, making cooking very difficult, I trust this has been fixed by now but tough to get done on Good Friday. There were only three cereal bowls of the same type, no big deal but at the price four for four people staying would have been nice. Communication was confusing and impersonal, multiple versions of the same email sent out shortly after booking making it difficult to find the important information. None of the communication felt exactly welcoming.

Positive: Pros: Great kitchen, comfy beds, very clean. Perfectly quiet, no traffic, safe for kids. Reasonably price for privacy. Cons: Signs on the oven went off, so there was a problem to turn it on. Still 10 on 10 :)
