Positive: It was very comfortable, clean and quiet with a lovely, large room and great bed. We also liked the older style decor. The breakfast was very nice and the lady looking after the breakfast room was exceptional.

Negative: The lack of a receptionist for quite a lot of the time. The provision of coffee and tea was poor so we bought our own.

Positive: A good size room. Nice to have a sofa and floor space for my yoga. We used the fridge and safe. The hotel is near U Bahn stations and its easy to walk to Alexander Platz. Also it was reasonably quiet.

Negative: We stayed for 5 days and only used room service once. So it was disappointing when we did not to have our coffee, tea etc replenished on the day we used it. But I asked at reception and there was no problem getting more. Some similar hotels we have stayed in have had a coffee machine with pods. That would have been nice but not necessary. The mattress on one of our single beds did not have a mattress protector. I didn't notice until we left. No problem for me but maybe the hotel should protect its mattresses more? The towels were maybe approaching needing replacement.

Negative: No one to help with the bags . Too expensive comparing to the service No water placed in the room , no tooth brush & when you ask you have to go all the way to the reception to get it your self . Check out time too early 11:00 am which is supposed to be minimum 12:00 pm . Asked for early check in they didn’t let us in until 3 pm even though we already requested earlier as we are staying only 1 night in Berlin

Positive: Location is perfect, it's close to almost all attractions. The rooms are very comfortable. Some facilities are older, but they're all perfectly clean and function well.
