Positive: Check-in was seamless, thanks to the host's efficient communication via WhatsApp. Upon arrival, the Dek Rill and his wife Yani warmly greeted us at the door with big smiles, embodying Balinese hospitality. They even assisted our driver with waiting arrangements 20m away as you could not park on the road outside the house. The villa was nestled within a family compound, where we received warm welcomes and friendly smiles from everyone. The atmosphere was peaceful and serene, yet we felt secure and at ease within the compound. The amenities stood out - filtered water for showering and brushing teeth, electrically pumped for convenience. The spacious rooms and toilets were a plus, and the hosts were accommodating, providing organic mozzie spray repellents, mosquito coils and electric repellents upon request. The comfortable beds with supportive pillows for both back and head/neck were the perfect finishing touch. We were impressed by their flexibility and attentiveness, particularly when they arranged for two massage therapists on short notice and even prepared a soothing pot of camomile tea afterward. We definately would like to support this hardworking couple who truely embodies the spirit of hospitality and would highly recommend the place based on our stay here in June 2025.

Negative: Although the property was new, we noticed some minor issues. The bathtub had scratches, and the standing shower did not aim at the standing stone due to the low water pressure despite it being pumped. Although the toilet area being mostly enclosed, we still spotted some insects & mosquitoes entering from somewhere. Additionally, it would have been convenient to have a luggage rack or built-in fixture to place our suitcase on, rather than putting it on the floor. However, these were minor concerns and didn't significantly impact our stay.

Summary: Cosy and relaxing villa, away from the husle and bustle of ubud.

Positive: The house is amazing and completely in line with the pictures. The kitchen area and private pool are fantastic and help refreshing during a hot day. I can share only positive feedback about our hosts as well, who are super kind and helpful people. We travelled with a baby and our host managed completely the renting of a baby cot and baby chair for us.

Positive: The Villa and pool were really great. At this villa you are about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Ubud, but literally only a couple of minutes if you get a Grab. Hosts were super friendly and checked in to make sure our stay was perfect - which it was.

Positive: We were pleasantly surprised at this little gem! You walk through the family village, that is just beautiful to look at out to the Villa. The Villa is set up just beautifully. It is clean, comfortable and with everything you'll need. The pool was lovely. The staff came and cleaned o our room and made our bed every day, as well as leaving fresh bottled water. The husband and wife team are so helpful and kind. They are super friendly and will do anything to help. Location was good for us - it was out of the hustle and bustle, and it was walking distance to places to eat.

Negative: The roster crowing most of the night.

Summary: We highly recommend this Villa! Its value for money and exceeded our expectations.

Positive: Had an extremely pleasant stay here and was left super impressed by their thoughtful service! Rooms were as gorgeous as pictured, and very clean (daily), even folding our clothes & shifting shoes indoors to avoid the rain. Amenities (kitchen, bath, pool) were great, basic toiletries and towels were provided. While location is on a quieter street, it's only a 10 minutes bike to the shopping/restaurant district, and there's a bakery right outside. Would love to stay here again!
