Positive: The gentleman who runs the cabin was really nice. Although I do not speak Romanian, we managed to communicate via Google Translate. Cabin has cooking facilities, I bought some eggs off the owner, and there is a shop in the village. Wood burner stove that owner lit and provided wood for, if anything made the place too hot.. Good location for hiking the E3.

Negative: Upstairs beds are a bit awkward to get to.

Positive: Amazing. The location of the house is perfect, there is a big terrace, big yard, there is no light or traffic around, so the sky in the night is astonishing.

Negative: The shower was a bit clogged The road from sasca montana to carbunari is very bad, full of potholes, curves and very steep. On the bright side, it is doable, even with a little rain, and it is a gorgeous scenery The old school heating style, with a fireplace: we stayed here in a rather cold april, so, during the night, the fire would go out (since we were sleeping) and in the morning it was a bit cold.
