Positive: Perfect little property....total privacy and isolation in middle of a field....just lovely. However only also a 10 min walk into Bedale and all facilities!. A marvelous base to explore the Dale's.very much recommend.

Negative: A couple of relaxer style outdoor chairs would be lovely.. but can't complain about anything really. :)

Positive: Absolutely beautiful property. Great location for day trips. Nice surprise to find milk and chocolate’s waiting in the fridge. Cottage has everything you need, including soap for the washing machine. Jonathan is a wonderful host.

Negative: Could not find anything not to like!

Positive: Kind welcome gifts left for us. Cottage situated in the middle of a corn field, so very quiet ! Parking by the door was great.

Negative: Outdoor furniture needed replacing. The BBQ was rusty and unuseable. There were 5 frying pans but all were badly scratched because only metal tools had been provided.

Summary: Very quiet cottage, very clean and well equipped. Would recommend

Positive: It was clean, comfortable and well located for our work. We were working on the Polar Express at Leeming Bar station and needed somewhere nearby. Little Welham was comfortable and on a lovely quiet road which meant we were able to get plenty of good quality sleep. The shower was fantastic and lovely temperature, which was very much appreciated after some very long days dancing on a train! Nothing was too much trouble for Jonathan, and he checked in on us to make sure we were ok with bins and to swap over bedding periodically. It’s a beautiful property, and we were even lucky enough to experience it in the snow too! At night there was very little light pollution, so we enjoyed being able to see so many stars in the sky! We enjoyed some lovely days out both in the more local area and out to York a few times. It’s a beautiful part of the country and I’d highly recommend Little Welham as a base for all types of trips.
