Negative: Very expensive for what it is... Excursion to Sossusvlei : it was raining...still wanted to charge the full amount..no second option..so we cancelled... The one management staff did not bother to say goodbye or to even look at us.. Sadly not as good as our first stay in 2023...

Positive: The lodge is a very nice place in the middle of the desert wilderness. Two things stood out well for me: stargazing and animal watching, both in the night. when they come to drink water at a water hole near my room. They serve very nice dinners. The lodge internal environment is very nice. The room has rustic and desert characters which is nice. Bed is very good.
Negative: It's not cheap for sure and the distance to Sossusvlei includes some tough roads. Pity that the lodge does not offer any stargazing activities or telescopes. Otherwise it would be a big plus.
Summary: Stargazing, animal watching, nice dinners and views

Positive: Very chilled comfortable accommodation. Staff were very welcoming I liked the fact that they encouraged you to hang around at the swimming pool after checkout if it suited you. No sense of rushing you off the premises
Negative: Some of the breakfast rolls were a bit stale but generally the food was good
Summary: Very comfortable and welcoming
