Positive: What an a fantastic little oasis of happiness in the middle of (what feels like) a Jungle. The lodges are great, the people hosting you are great, and their open air restaurant offers tasty food throughout the day. An almost empty beach is just a few hundred meters away that has it's own bar and restaurant as well.

Positive: Accommodation maybe a little sparten for some. The bed a little hard but large room and bathroom. Grounds well laid out and maintained. Host very helpful, also the staff. No pool may put some off but close access to the beach

Positive: As a single traveler i had always someone to talk to in the beautiful roundhouserestaurant and the internet welan connection was very good there. The food was the best i had tasted in the whole Gambia, each meal freshly prepaired and delisciously tasty. The beach was very comfortably reached within minutes of a lovely stroll and was very romantic and relaxing. The owners put personal care into making me feel welcome and at home. I had a great time, thank you to everyone!

From being immersed in nature and waking up to the beautiful songbird every morning, to being just a few minutes walk to a stunning, secluded beach, we loved every moment of our stay here. Little, Matthias and the wonderful team made us feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed throughout, with freshly cooked meals to order and excellent local knowledge, as well as recommendations for places to visit in The Gambia..🇬🇲☀️😎 Cannot recommend enough.! :)

Positive: What an extraordinary place! It’s like a beautiful oasis in the middle of nowhere, where you can actually relax and unwind. Matthias and Sunkar were so friendly and accommodating and made us really feel like we were visiting friends and family and not staying at a resort. And of course the food. Every single dish was absolutely perfect, especially the Chicken Yassa. Thank you Sunkar for cooking these delicious dishes. Also a big thanks to the staff, who were all so courteous and made sure, that we had everything we needed. The beach is just a 5 minute walk and there’s a restaurant called Santosha right on the beach with clean beach beds, so you could just chill there all day and enjoy the beautiful and secluded beach, all to yourself, and most importantly there’s no pestering from any beach hawkers on the entire beach. Don’t forget to take a walk to the close by villages, to get a feeling of the local Gambian life. And you could easily hop onto a shared taxi from Gunjur, if you ever want to visit Banjul or Serrekunda for literally nothing. It’s not so difficult to find a taxi on the main road close to Little’s too. If you’re a fan of tranquility and really want to detox, and stay away from the busy and maddening Serrekunda, this is the place to be.

Negative: There’s just cold water in the shower. But honestly you get used to it so fast. If you don’t prefer it, you can always request for warm water.

Positive: Peaceful and tranquil surroundings, close to the beach, amazing friendly staff, comfortable bed and spacious room and bathroom. Lots to do and see in the area and surrounding areas, ,great places to eat nearby! Highly recommend if you want to be away from the more touristy parts of Gambia . I will definitely be back !

Positive: We had an amazing stay at little’s. The rooms are in a beautiful garden full of gorgeous plants and birds. The beach is only a short walk away. Dinner was delicious and rooms are very comfortable and clean. On top of that, Little’s hospitality made us feel really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Positive: A relaxing oasis, a short and beautiful walk from one of the nicest beaches in the Gambia. The resort is full of trees, flowers and birds - best appreciated lazily from the comfort of one of the hammocks... The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and the service excellent. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean. If you want to enjoy the Gambia at its best, I would recommend you stay at Little's.
