Summary: The cabin could have used a better cleaning before we checked in. Over all it was okay, had a couple lizards in there and a big cockroach, those are to be expected staying right on the swamp. Ran into a water mocosin on the boat dock area. The boat dock could really use some repairs. Overall the host was great, would return again.

Summary: My husband, son and I were visiting family out of state and needed somewhere to stay for a few nights with our two dogs. The cabin was perfect, secluded and peaceful for us to get some rest after a long drive. River out back is beautiful as well and the neighbors we did see were very friendly. Roy was quick to communicate everything we needed to know about check-in and overall we had a very nice stay.

Summary: My daughter was playing softball in Myrtle Beach one last time before heading to college to continue her softball career. Roy’s place was exactly what our family needed. It let us unwind as a family and enjoy each other after a long day at the fields. It was nice to walk around, fish, watch movies when it rained and played some cards. Roy was a fantastic host, our family will be back!!!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay it was a very peaceful place to be. Cabin had everything we needed we spent 7 days and enjoyed every one of them even though it rained we still enjoyed walking, boating and cooking out. This truly is a hidden gem.
