Positive: LiresCa’s reputation preceded itself among Camino pilgrims crossing our path and we couldn’t wait for our turn. Although our expectations were high, they were more than exceeded. Following a shorter day’s walk from Muxia we arrived earlier than our room was ready, around 1 pm, and spent a good part of the afternoon on the charming patio watching pilgrim traffic pass in both directions. Lunch was good, ribs and an amazing burger with local cheese and orange/tomato marmalade. Dessert was an incredible blue cheese cheesecake. Owners and staff were very friendly and our host, a Montrealer, made his fellow Canadians feel especially welcome. Our clean, bright room overlooked the corner (the Camino bends around the building) and the outdoor terrace. Beds (twins) and linens/pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast, served in the dining room, was also topnotch. One of our favourite stays on the Camino; we’re happy to have had extra time to enjoy!

Positive: Liresca has incredible attention to detail with everything in their casa.. the staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. So much attention to detail makes for a very pleasant stay

Negative: There was nothing I didn’t like. It was a wonderful place to rest during the Camino

Positive: Pure luxury - the perfect treat after weeks of dormitories along the Camino! We shared a comfortable triple room (2x singles + a sofa bed) with beautiful views out over the village and huge bathroom with piping hot shower. Rosa was a lovely host and the restaurant food was awesome - highly recommend the chocolate mousse for dinner and lemon crepe for breakfast! A little haven of peace and luxury to rest those weary legs.

Negative: I cannot think of a single thing! Wish we could have stayed a second night!

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff who ensured my stay was perfect in every way. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with large windows that showcased stunning views of the surrounding area. It was the perfect setting to unwind and watch the time pass by. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room amenities were top-notch, adding to the overall comfort and convenience. The tranquil atmosphere of the place made it an ideal spot for relaxation. The hotel's location also provided easy access to scenic spots, making it perfect for leisurely strolls and exploration.
