Positive: We traveled to North Berwick for The Scottish Open. Linda Vista was a good base for our group to rest after long days at the course with a great kitchen (beach view is wonderful from this space), two lounge areas and comfortable rooms. Easy walk to local restaurants as well as sunrise/ sunset beach walks.

Positive: The location was just amazing, helped by the good weather. Large rooms, good kitchen, mainly comfortable beds. Spacious, lots of room for 10 adults and a tot. Views from sitting room and kitchen to the Bass Rock and beach/coastline brilliant. Nice touch to have outdoor beach chairs and toys etc

Negative: It needs a lot of repairs by the owners . Middle shower was not working, which we were compensated for. The central heating wasn’t working apart from the middle bathroom. Cracked sinks, rusty bottom shelf in fridge, top bedroom blind had fallen down, which was mended but then kept falling down. Bottom floor bedroom windows did not open and smelled musty (damp ingress). Outside down pipe blocked and overflowing on side path. We were taken aback to be left with only 1 dishwasher tablet for 10 adults for 3 days, and 1 tea towel. We had to buy more of both. Would have been a beautiful property if it had been looked after properly.
