Negative: The swimming pool was the reason we chose this hotel, however, besides temperatures in the region of 35C it was closed. It was mid-June and even though the hotel was presented as with an operating swimming pool on summer months, we were told that this was normal for them as they never open the pool before 15 June (we were there just a day or two earlier with no sign of this being in the process). The 'lake' view from both the room and the pool was actually first the view of the ruins of an old hotel and then the lake. Consequently we cut our stay short and left the day after checking in We drove all the way from Athens anticipating to combine time relaxing at the pool and visits to the area - what a disappointment!

Positive: The room was very clean, they upgraded our choice with a room with lake view, which was very nice. Breakfast was great, many different things too choose from, everything was well prepared and very tasty. We ate our lunch at the hotel's restaurant, it was again very nice, the service was exceptional. The staff were very polite and willing to help us with anything we needed. The pool was big, there was a separate pool for the children, everything was very clean. Overall the facilities were exceptional.

Negative: Some people did not respect the rules and used the pool for dives, nobody told them not to do that. This was dangerous both for them and also for anyone inside the pool, especially the children.

Positive: Big room space. Everything was clean. Nice restaurant and spa area. We will definetely visit again. Special reference should go to the gentleman in charge of the spa who was very kind. Also Dora at the restaurant and the breakfast area was super helpful.

Negative: The wifi was unstable in the room and the common spaces.
