Summary: What a hotel. Spotlessly clean, with an eclectic collection of treasures and trinkets from years gone by. The staff are amazing, and incredibly welcoming and friendly. The barman especially is a hard worker and a great conversationalist, building rapport with the hotel guests. I’d love to give the place 5 stars for the place, art collections and people. The only reason I can’t has nothing to do with the hotel itself, but the proximity to the DLR line which is close by the back of the property and you can hear it throughout the night. For the money, this is a brilliant hotel that’s a short taxi ride into the city or the west end.
