Negative: Wifi dint work and even after complaint no action was taken , there was no sofa in the hall but it is shown in the pictures , when I compliant they asked me to send pictures of the hall . They dont know what is in the hall . Parking is a hassle

Positive: Property was a renovated apartment - very spacious, clean and comfortable. Bedrooms overlooked a leafy courtyard, so quiet at night. Provision of small items like a magnifying mirror were appreciated.
Negative: Shower was a bit tricky - but no fault of the owner. With no dishwasher and no plug for the kitchen sink, it was difficult to wash the dishes.

Positive: The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you could need in the kitchen or in terms of clothes iron, hair drier etc. It's large and quiet. There was a code for the building door and one for the apartment door.
Negative: The area around the building (even though the location is only 900 m away from the cathedral) smelled bad. Even though street parking is mentioned as available in the Booking description we had great difficulty in finding parking (all street signs are in German, and all street parking we found required a local parking permit). We found a parking garage not far, and had a very unpleasant experience with it; as I was waiting for another car to come out, past a car that was double parked in the middle of the road, the car behind us had to stop and wait and the people got very impatient immediately. They started honking and screaming at us, and pulled up behind us in the entryway to the parking garage. The passenger came out and came yelling to my window (he was a young, big, strong guy with big bushy hair and looked extremely threatening). The parking garage had only one entrance/exit, so we pulled in near the entrance and waited for the anti-social youths to leave. Then we had to pay for parking. The machine was old and decrepit, it had a lot of stickers with instructions on installing apps for payment (which didn't work) and only took coins. It got blocked after 3 coins and we had to come back in one hour to pay for one more hour (until 8:30 pm; no payment was required overnight). We were happy that we're not getting a parking ticket, but no such luck. The next day there was a ticket on the car, for driving and parking in a green zone. After a lot of research it turned out that the apartment itself was in this green zone (probably covering the whole center of Augsburg) and any car driving there must order an 18 euro permit in advance. There is no way of knowing this; there was no information about this in the apartment description on Booking, (although any client arriving in a car would need to know this). For this reason I've downgraded the apartment facilities. Had I known, I would have stayed somewhere else, outside any green zones.
