Positive: Location. Ideal for two couples. Very comfy beds. Facilities good. View lovely. Local pub great. Warm property.

Negative: General outside appearance look very neglected, garden and roadside especially. Lots of cobwebs inside and dirty in places. Annoying buzzing sound in larger bedroom. No hot water in property on first day-although fixed immediately reported.

Positive: We loved that the cottage was just out of the village away from the crowds, that we had a patio which had sun all day looking at the amazing view of Malham, the cottage had everything we needed. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and the beds were really comfortable. It was very quiet at night, you could hear a pin drop, so peaceful! We particularly liked the big bedroom with the en-suite inside the room and the lovely big bed. The cottage is a little gem which I have told all my friends about, we would highly recommend it and would definitely go again. Easy access to Malham's Cove and Janet's Foss waterfalls and other lovely walks in a stunning area with amazing views which go on for miles and miles. Two lovely pubs in the village, Listers Arms was the better with a lovely beer garden where you could sit in the sun and soak up the atmoshphere, the food was also delicious and the pub was only a 2 minute walk from the cottage. Everything was perfect for our stay, we didn't want to go home!

Negative: Nothing could have been better, thank you so much.

Summary: A little gem in the haven of Malham, tucked away in the hillside very peaceful. Highly recommended!

Positive: The property itself is beautiful and the location was perfect with beautiful surroundings. A few logs and lighting fuel would have been nice to have a log fire as it does say in the info about the cottage that there’s a log burner but didn’t mention that no logs were provided. As it was after 5pm when we checked in , cold and wet, and weren’t able to buy logs locally a bit disappointed. ( I will add that the heating was on) . Also I marked down for cleanliness because on entering the main bedroom there was a horrible smell. It turned out to be the bedding. All four pillows and the quilt smell dirty and very musty and I had to swop them with the bedding in the smaller bedroom. Other than that a lovely stay and would use the cottage again

Positive: Location great. Beds comfy. Bathrooms good.

Negative: The kitchen, crockery, cutlery and all kitchen ware was dirty. We had to wash everything before we could use it. Such a shame.

Positive: Great location, lovely cottage with good showers and a fantastic log burning stove. Good TV and a nice kitchen perfect for feeding a small family. Very clean and tidy. Great for hiking with the boot and utility room. Close to Malham Cove and lots of lovely walking trails.

Negative: The underfloor heating system is a little noisy at night but we got used to it fairly quickly. It’s a shame no firewood was supplied for the log burner - even a small bag to get us started would have been nice. We picked some up from the farm shop in Airton which is worth a look.

Summary: Loved it. Would stay again.
