Summary: Location!! This is the only place within Point Reyes NS where you can spend the night unless you have a tent. It's perfect for what it is. The Lodge is more hostel than hotel, and is a cluster of buildings with different levels of accommodation. Everything is perfectly comfortable, including the beds. They provide sheets, blankets (actually a warm comforter), towels, bath mat, face cloth, hand/shower soap, and a fully-stocked kitchen, including things like cooking oil, some spices, salt and pepper, coffee and tea (BYO white stuff). There is a huge refrigerator, bins to store your food, and every kind of pot, bowl, knives, and other cooking utensil. Otherwise, you must bring everything you want to eat unless you plan on going out for dinner--there are several places not far, though the road is winding and after hiking all day you may just want to stay in and microwave some frozen lasagne. Bathrooms are shared and very basic. The rooms can be a bit cold so bring warm jammies. Staff are lovely, but are only there from about 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. There are posted emergency numbers to use at other times. It's a very nice hostel.

Summary: The location is awesome

Summary: It hostel-style so there is a kitchen for cooking meals and shared bathroom/shower facilities. Just be aware that you can only use the kitchen 8 am-8:30 pm which is a little restrictive. It would be nice if there was a microwave and small sink in the meadow house for after-hours use. I would love to stay again, the scenery is incredibly beautiful.

Summary: This is a hostel type lodge in a National forest. If you like to hike, this is the place for you. With 53,000 acres to explore along the CA coastline, with wonderful tourist amenities nearby in Point Reyes Station, you are in for a wonderful experience.

Summary: Very unique, you are on your own out in nature. Not for everyone in our group but I enjoyed every minute. It would have been great to have some breakfast options since we arrived very late.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in this quiet area. In spite of seeing a few people around, it felt secluded. Our room was clean.
