Positive: I liked that there was parking for my rental car, it was convenient to arrive at any time and get the keys from the lock box. The air conditioning system and washing machine were very nice features and we found almost everything we needed to use in the appartment during our stay. We also really liked to rooftop terrace.

Negative: The water was turned off to the washer so it might be helpful to have a little note on the wall to let people know that they have to turn the water on. Also we couldnt figure out how to use the stove right away because the timer had to be on.

Summary: We had a lovely stay in Lilla Strandis and would definitely come again!

Positive: The place was clean! And considering how tiny the kitchenette was, it was well-equipped: there's a decent-sized fridge, a kitchen sink, plenty of dishes and even some spices. I also appreciated the air conditioner. It's a tiny space, so it gets very hot very quickly if it's sunny outside, but running the air conditioner cools it down just as quickly. There is also a free washing machine, which I would have appreciated had I been on a longer journey. The location is great, Alandica conference center and the high street are just an easy 5-minute walk away, and the Thai restaurant downstairs was pretty good, too!

Negative: This place is pretty wildly overpriced! I paid 84 € a night, so I was pretty shocked to find out that the bed was a SOFA BED. It was so uneven, too, that the first night was pretty rough on my lower back. From the second night on, I thankfully found a way to position the contours of my by body against the contours of the bed in a way that did not hurt. But if you are the type of person who struggles to find a comfortable sleeping position even on a regular bed, I would not recommend trying your luck with this one! There was also considerably less privacy than I expected, from apartment accommodation, because the walls are paper thin. As in: you can even hear the people next door coughing and snoring. If they any make more noise than that - well, you probably cannot sleep until they do. And you will wake up when they wake up. At the same time, I was constantly really self-conscious about all the noises I was making, which wasn't particularly relaxing either. If I pay over 50 € for a night, I would definitely expect a real bed and a good night's sleep, so I would not stay here again, unless the priced dropped about 50 %. Also, the WiFi was really spotty; it worked maybe 25 % of the time, so I finally gave up on it and just used my phone's 4G connection for everything.

Positive: Clean and comfortable little apartment. Well equipped. Facilities were fresh and functioning. The hosts were easy to reach with booking.com own chat. I came with the ferry from Turku and an earlier check in and later check out to better match the ferry's own timetable was easy to arrange (this naturally depends on the season) via the chat.

Negative: I found nothing to complain about during my stay.

Summary: This cozy apartment is now my go-to place for future visits.
