Positive: The property followed a beach themed and I loved the decor. It was comfortable and not too far away from the beach and other area attractions. Also loved the guest book they had for their guests to write in. So they could read about the people that come visit their property.

Negative: It’s not the owners (host) it’s the management company (VACASA) the ones that are terrible. The property needs a deep cleaning. Ceiling fans had a thick layer of dust, the stove top looks and was greasy, the baseboards are full of dust. The floors need a good mopping, I normally never walk barefoot, but I took off my shoes and walked from the living area to the bedroom to get my flip flops and my feet were really dirty. Also, the parking pass was not inside the property as stated in check in. I contacted VACASA and they said numerous times to look inside the property, we had to contact them back several times to tell them the pass was not inside the property. They said that someone would bring me a pass the next day. The following day, I contacted VACASA to ask when someone was coming to drop off the pass and they said they would get back to me. They didn’t get back to me until late afternoon letting me know that no one would drop off the pass and to just put a paper on my dashboard with my name and the VACASA phone number. The whole thing was just a hassle and I was worried about my car getting towed. Not something that you want to be worried about on vacation.

Positive: I liked the value compared to a hotel considering it comes with two bedrooms, two baths and a full kitchen.

Negative: The place was cleaned but not with detail. There was dirt, food and debris under the couches, beds, and coffee table. Hairs found in the towels resulting in my wife washing them all before we used them. Hairs found in shower and sinks also. Kitchen floor mat was old, dirty and corners were rolling up. The air frier had not been cleaned prior to my wife using it. The people next door were really loud at night. There was a party Saturday night that did not end until around 1:00 am on Sunday morning. Also, the number on the parking pass did not match my room number.

Summary: My stay was not as good as I had hoped.
