Summary: While some reviewers remark on the outdated nature of this facility, I think it adds to the charm. It is delightful in every way, and the lakeside location is pristine. Another benefit is the walking/running/biking trail from the property all the way to Manitowoc, right on the lakeshore.

Summary: I love old and quaint, but this place was kind of dingy and smelled very musty. Thankfully the musty wasn't mixed with overpowering perfumy air fresheners. We didn't get to enjoy the complimentary cook to order breakfast because it opened too late for our plans.

Summary: We stayed 2 nights. The decor match the theme very well. The restaurant had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. The staff in the restaurant and hotel was very nice. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom could use some updates but was clean.

Summary: This is a very comfortable, convenient, and quiet hotel. Pool, hot tub. & gym were very good after a long car ride. Had trouble w keys & wall mounted shampoo bottle in my room didn’t work, but other than that, really nice.

Summary: Room was clean - no strange odors. Bathroom was spotless. Beds are comfortable. Everything worked as it should. We have stayed there many times and have never had a bad experience. We will stay there again. Onsite restaurant and bar are a plus as is the complimentary breakfast. If you can, get a lake view room. Open the window and listen to the waves while enjoying the view. Do It.

Summary: Such a cute place to stay. The location is beautiful and breakfast was great! We fully enjoyed our stay. Heads up that you need to get a hair dryer from the front desk, which I didn’t realize until after my shower. The exercise room had good quality equipment. Nice walkable neighborhood and good choices for food.
