Summary: We enjoyed our stay; there are some things to note: 10 min walk to the S-Bahn & small commercial centre, but not many restaurant options nearby. Entrance is not private; guests enter through the home of the host and go up a steep, narrow stairway to the entrance of the top floor

Summary: We had such a wonderful time at this property! The owners Svantje Breitbach and her family were incredibly friendly, helpful, responsive and hospitable and made us feel at home the moment we arrived. The apartment on the top floor of an old villa was very cozy and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves, including lots of interesting books about Hamburg, games, DVDs etc. It's located in the heart of Othmarschen, one of Hamburg's most beautiful neighbourhoods, and close to the metro S-Bahn, various bus stations, the river Elbe, plenty of cafes and a big mall. To summarize: the perfect place for whatever you want to do, relax, going for walks, shopping, enjoying Hamburg's nightlife and its many sights etc. Thank you Svantje & family again for everything. We will definitely come back!

Summary: I loved this apartment - beautiful in the sun, super close to the S Bahn (the line right to the airport and a few stops to city centre). A small shopping district 10 mins walk away and quiet at night. Svantje was great, making sure I had all I needed and happy to chat.

Summary: The owners of the property were cheerful and helpful guving excellent instructions about the property and suggestions about where to eat like a local and act like a local. I highly recommend the property and neighborhood. It is in a quiet established neighborhood of large homes. My son in law and I spent 4 days sightseeing, eating the local food and ice cream, after the concert at Fabrik was postponed. Hamburg is energetic, growing and friendly. I am returning with my wife after next years Paris trip and tour du Mont Blanc. Go. You won't regret it.
