The city of Levanto has an interesting historic center, many beautiful painted villas, a lively Wednesday market, good restaurants and shops. In the main square, Piazza della Loggia, there is a delightful 13th-century loggia. Levanto boasts a particularly mild climate. The long sandy beach is ideal for all seaside activities. It is a great base for surfers, who come from all over Europe. Also on the beach, there is a swimming pool and a scuba diving center. In the summer there are many concerts and live music events.
