Positive: We were walking along the pilgrim route: Via Francigena so important there was accommodation available in the village. The owner was away the day of our arrival and arranged for his son to welcome us. This was much appreciated as this is the only place to stay.

Negative: We did not know there was a lodger staying as well so were surprised when he arrived.

Positive: The owners were so kind and accommodating, it was a perfect location for our first stop over having crossed over earlier from England in the ferry. Very picturesque and the breakfast provided was delicious.

Negative: It would have been nice if our room had air con, late July it got a bit hot and stuffy.
