Positive: The rooms are huge. Beds and bedding good and room clean. Staff friendly though limited English. The two pools are great. Breakfast very nice. The remote location for quiet.

Negative: Place is hard to find at first , do not follow Google maps ! Turn right before the small village at the gravel road (see pic). WiFi is hit and miss. Lots of things neglected or not working, jacuzzi, gym. Spa. Tennis court. No bar or shop to buy anything, I'm not even sure if you can buy a drink ?? It was never suggested. Meals very limited and too expensive, 200dhms for 3 course dinner, no choices. Take supplies!!! Could be a much better place but feels souless, more catering for events, it's not really a hotel. To be honest it does not really look like the photos anymore. None of the fountains work, seems a bit neglected. No plug for bath either.

Positive: The staff were superb, from the young man opening the compound gate, to the concierge, Ismail, to the kitchen staff and the manager, Jean-Baptiste. They were all very helpful and assisted in every way possible to make us happy and enjoy our time. Our gluten intolerance was catered for at breakfast and Ismail and his staff were very attentive. I would highly recommend using the hotel sourced drivers. They were cheaper and knew the whereabouts of the hotel, which was difficult to find on Google by other drivers. The hotel rooms were large and the beds and mattresses huge and comfortable and they were clean.

Negative: Minor things that could be improved. The shower was not great. The shower head needed to be descaled. The coffee table was lopsided and needs to be replaced. The cushions for the garden chairs outside need to be replaced. They are too thin and you can't sit for long on the hard metal chair. As for the other facilities like the spa, we did not use them as they did not look operational.

Positive: Very pretty and green, very quiet and peaceful. Very clean. Two pools, big room. The staff are very nice and helpful. It's great if you want peace and quiet, away from the craziness of Marrakech. The room gets very dark, you can't even tell it's morning so you can get a great sleep.

Negative: It is very far from the Medina and everything else to see in Marrakech, about 40 min driving. The taxi they book from the hotel is super expensive, 20 euros just one direction. You can find it for 10-13 if you book via the taxi app InDrive from the centre but if you want to be picked up from the hotel forget about it. It seems pretty overpriced given the location and the extra costs. There isn't much to see in the area where the hotel is. To be fair, anyone can see where it is so it's not the fault of the hotel but I would recommend they provide cheaper taxis and I would say it's misleading that it says it's in Marrakech as it's pretty much outside it.

Positive: Fabulous property. Note. It is a 40 min taxi from Marrakesh and there is nothing nearby. This is a retreat, not a "base of operations" (Book transfers through booking.com, they are over 50% cheaper) We stayed here after a few nights in Fes and Marrakesh. It was perfect for unwinding for 2 nights after a hectic previous 6 days. Although the only option is to book bed and breakfast you will need to have lunch and dinner here too. The overall price of food is very reasonable. It is home-cooked hearty Moroccan food and delicious. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. If I knew they had a tennis court in advance I would have brought my racket too. The only complaint I have is I can't give it a rating of 11 or 12.
