Positive: The apartment is a short walk from one of the stop on the cog train. The apartment had all that I needed and it was a short walk to the grocery store. The owner and her representative were both responsive.

Negative: The only downside was the weather - which cannot be controlled! Also, I stayed in early May, which is off-season (after winter skiing and before summer hiking): many places were closed with notes to reopen at the end of May.

Positive: We were 5 days in Leysin with 3 persons, ages 55+ in May. Perfect location near all restaurants, grocery store and swimming hall. You can walk everywhere. Stunning view from the room and balcony. Quiet building. The apartment is not too big but has everything you need. Private parking garage. We loved it!
