Beaux Reves villa is only 15 mins drive from the stunning medieval town of Sarlat la Canéda & 15 mins from Montignac with its world famous Lascaux caves. The magnificent Dordogne valley is also within very easy reach. You will find peace, tranquility and comfort as you enjoy a break in one of the most beautiful and interesting parts of France.
Situated on the private estate of Les Charmes de Carlucet, completely private with its own private garden and heated pool (heated between mid May to mid Sept weather permitting) It is perfectly situated to give easy access to the best of everything the area is world famous for including: Gastronomy, Beautiful Historic towns like the medieval bastille towns of Sarlat and Domme, beautiful Dordogne & Vezere valley, canoeing, prehistoric caves, stunning Chateaux, village markets & of course the world famous caves of Lascaux at Montignac.
Beaux Reves is a beautiful stone Villa which has been completely renovated to the highest standards using quality materials & local beautiful sandy coloured stone. The property has recently been completely refurbished & is in excellent decorative order, extremely clean & very fresh. With stylish, quality, comfortable furnishings throughout.
The living/dining/kitchen area is open plan to allow a light, airy & communal space. A wood burning stove is situated in the centre which adds to the cosy feel of this stunning property.
There are UK satellite channels & free high speed WiFi. There is a separate laundry room equipped with a washing machine & dryer. Upstairs are 3 large bedrooms all with private en-suite bathrooms & air conditioning. All the beds are extremely comfortable with high quality mattresses & bedding for extra comfort.
The dining/living area opens up on to a secluded private terrace & private fenced heated swimming pool with sun loungers surrounding it. Views around it are of the stunning Countryside & of the beautiful Church and Hamlet of Carlucet.
The house & pool are facing South West and have the most spectacular sunsets over the beautiful landscape.

Summary: We had a fabulous week staying at Beaux Reves. The property is furnished and decorated to a very high standard with all required conveniences, it was perfect for relaxing days with lovely food and wine . The pool is a good size, well kept and maintained the grounds surrounding the villa are perfect which help to ensure a very relaxed stay are had by all. The hosts, Kerry and Tomas are a joy to meet, all communications before the holiday were excellent and then on arrival, we were met with lovely welcome gifts. Both Kerry and Tomas were more than helpful during our stay, however they have excellent hosting skills as they are available when needed but otherwise left us to enjoy the week undisturbed. The property is in a good location with lots of activities and Places to visit close by. We would recommend the property and experience of staying at the villa to anyone.

Summary: We loved our stay at Beaux Reves. We were 2 couples and we found the house very comfortable and thoughtfully stocked for a great holiday. The bedrooms are all air conditioned and the pool and bbq provide extra fun. The property has a rural setting and we really enjoyed the peace and privacy. The house is really well located and within easy reach of many lovely villages and attractions. Kayaking is particularly recommended! Kerry and Thomas are particularly friendly and welcoming hosts and communication was excellent. I would definitely recommend this property and would be happy to return for another visit!

Summary: The house was lovely, as were the owners who were very helpful and welcoming. The area is beautiful and peaceful and there were lots of interesting places to visit. We would definately visit again.

Summary: We spent a week in late August as guests at Beaux Reves as a family of four. Any questions we sent prior to our arrival were promptly answered and that level of attention to detail was one of the many things that made this stay such a wonderful one. Kerry and Tomas were amazing hosts; Kerry took time on our first afternoon to run though the various attractions in the area, many of which we took up and all of which were fantastic (we'd particularly recommend Lascaux caves and the BikeBus rides as well as the local night market). Where we needed to book ahead and print the tickets, she helped us with that as well meaning we didn't need to worry at all about the queueing anywhere! The house itself was immaculate and really well equipped with everything we could need in the kitchen along with a lovely welcome pack on our arrival. We all enjoyed cooling off in the heated pool at the end of the day as well and the air conditioning in the bedrooms were just as welcome at nights. The area itself is beautiful - Carlucet is a small village but the local bar/ restaurant served delicious food and was a very short walk from the house. The nearby village of Salignac had everything we needed to keep us going - small supermarket/ butchers/ boulangerie etc. For us, Les Charmes de Carlucet had every element needed for a wonderful family holiday and I would whole heartedly recommend it. We'll be back!

Summary: The property was excellent and very well equipped,the owners Kerry and Thomas were very informative and gave us lots of advice on places of interest in the area, the wine and welcome pack was more than adequate they even brought us some hot croissants one morning! Only downside swimming pool was closed which we did not know when we booked.Great holiday.

Summary: Beautiful rooms very tastefully decorated, very comfortable beds, lovely walkin shower. Equally beautiful living areas - tv room, lovely bright breakfast room looking onto the pool with a lovely choice for breakfast ( thanks Tomas for the nice soft boiled eggs ! )Lovely big warm pool, with very confortable sun loungers & clean towels. BBQ for guests to use around the pool and little tables & benches underneath the trees in the shade. Kerry & Tomas are wonderful hosts who are always willing to assist & know the area very well to advise where to visit. We are going back in October again and next summer ! Summary: We had booked to stay in the manor house but, because we arrived ahead of any other guests, we were given a guided viewing of the separate villa Beaux Reves. It is a property of both beauty and character with its own private swimming pool and is just about perfect for an extended family or a group of friends. Complimentary wine had been placed in the fridge in readiness for the arrival of the house guests and the hosts, Kerry & Tomas advised us that they expected to provide the same extensive range of services that are available to guests staying in the manor house. Unlike many gites, this one is decorated and furnished to an unbelievably high standard and we will certainly be recommending it to any of our friends that are thinking about booking group accommodation. Summary: The Beaux Reves villa was one of the best places we have ever stayed in the Dordogne. Exceptionally clean and very spacious, we really felt at home here. Our children enjoyed playing in the private swimming pool, and the huge enclosed garden meant they could run around to the heart's content whilst we relaxed on the patio. The villa has its own barbecue and patio area and luckily we had a number of warm days so we could eat outside. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this property. The service was exceptional and Kerry could not do enough for us! Lovely people!

Summary: Loved our stay with you! Best night's sleep i've had in a long time. Crisp white sheets fluffy pillows and mattresses, manicured lawns which were open to us to have our evening apero on. All the comforts of a 5 star hotel while maintain the warmth and cosiness of home. Thank you Thomas, Kerry and ofcourse Evie for a wonderful stay! It's just what the doctor ordered.
