Positive: A perfect one bedroom apartment in the Champoluc old town. An easy walk to free car parking 100m up the hill and easy access to all of the village amenities 100m down the hill. The apartment was extremely clean and well appointed and would suit anything up to a young family of four. The apartment was pre-heated and warm the whole time. There was ample clothing storage & hanging space. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and cooking utensils.

Negative: The apartment is set over two floors, so you just need to watch your head as you enter the bathroom in the top floor.

Positive: Very clean and cosy. Everything we needed in terms of kitchen equipment and plenty of towels.

Negative: The shower was quite tricky without a curtain / glass but appreciate its hard to fit something better in the space. A kettle would also be great!

Positive: The property had most of the facilities we needed, it was in a beautiful location with amazing views, there were enough radiators to keep our ski equipment dry and it felt very spacious for two people.

Negative: We are British, so we like our tea so not having a kettle was a small inconvenience. The only other issue was the apartment not being directly accessible by car which is slightly annoying when arriving and unpacking as well as leaving. However this is not not something the host can change as it is just the way the town is built.

Positive: The apartment is characteristic, warm and cozy. The location is quiet and safe and the surroundings are wonderful, especially if it snows. Convenient for the town center and the main services. The host is kind and very helpful and responds quickly to any questions.

Negative: The layout of the apartment could create some problems for those traveling with a toddler, like us. The steep stairs leading to the mezzanine/bedroom can be a significant danger, I recommend installing a safety gate or similar. The only bathroom is also located at the top of the aforementioned stairs, which makes it a little inconvenient. I also found it difficult to wash in the shower/bathtub, as it is very low and open, without anything to protect the rest of the bathroom from splashes, risking to wet everywhere. Lastly, as the property does not have a parking space and is uphill, unloading/loading bags and luggage can be difficult, especially in case of snow.

Summary: Very nice stay for couples without great demands, but not really suitable for small children.

Positive: Very well appointed apartment, clean, beautiful furniture, provided of absoluetly everything and super well fitted, outstanding host and location. Small but organized throroughly, you will be comfortable, very cozy, even a bedroom balcony. Washing machine always a plus when traveling. I will be back. Apartment is on the small side if you are more than 2 people and plan to stay many days. Not a problem in the summer when you are outdoor all the time.
