Summary: The property is centrally located within walking distance of main sites and restaurants but in a quiet and peaceful street. The host was very hospitable and the house is a historic bed & breakfast in a lovely well maintained house. Very homey and cozy decorations and our room was very comfortable and clean. Their was no a/c in the room but was Ok even in the warm weather in early June with opened windows.

Summary: What a wonderful chateau. No restaurant but plenty of tables to eat outside with your own picnic with plates and cutlery available free to use Some lovely walks around the area. And a pool to use. The hostess cannot be more helpful and the breakfast was a treat. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Summary: Very congenial and helpful host in a lovely, charming and beautifully-furnished house. Very comfortable bed and good bathroom. Breakfast is light, stairs are quite steep and the radiator will tick and trickle fairly continuously when on, so do without it from bedtime when possible. Parking at the nearby secure park is easy and reasonably priced - just be aware the only indication you'll get that the exit machine has scanned your paid ticket is the raising of the arm!

Summary: Very nice B&B, well situated in Angers. Host was very good. Rooms are dated, but with lots of character. Good value for money.

Summary: I have travelled extensively in recent years and I can say this was the best accommodation I have used. A beautiful house, hidden behind a simple facade. The owners could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but beautiful, and our room was delightful. I could not recommend Les Chambers de Mathilde enough. Finding gems like this is why we travel. Absolutely wonderful. Thank You
