Positive: Stay here if you are going to climb Ijen. It's close to where you start hiking and lots of local places to buy food and supplies that might have been forgotten. The hosts are lovely and our room was rustic and part of the experience that we were dreaming of

Positive: It's in the middle of nowhere but the views are amazing. I didn't had a scooter which complicated a little bit because no drivers in the area. If you stay here go eat at Desa Baturiti restaurant 5 min walking.

Positive: Amazing garden and view very comfortable room, very clean. Stunning location. Great kitchen Absolutely beautiful. Luxury in the jungle. With Roosters!

Negative: It's more like camping than a hotel, be sure to bring food and a scooter is very necessary. There are no services like laundry or food or information or a driver and it's a long way from town. Still loved our stay though, relaxing and a visual feast.

Summary: How's the serenity?! Gorgeous place. Definitely need a scooter.

Positive: The staff if unbelievably friendly and works incredibly hard to accommodate anything and everything you need. We made very good friends with the staff and miss them dearly

Negative: Knowing it was a bit far from the city would be nice but I would stay here again in a heartbeat
