Positive: Huge room! Although I think I had been given the disable access room…. Bathroom was a complete wetroom. There was also a separate sink unit and kettle in the room. It appears to be a brand new property.
Negative: The location. Right in the middle of street after street of houses. The building wasn’t finished. There were zero facilities - not even a vending machine. Lots of areas for communal sitting. Speaking to the ‘very’ young lad on the desk (who was pleasant enough), he said there were only 3 guests in on the night I stayed - but then again, it was the limbo period between Christmas and New Year - I didn’t see or hear any of them! The guy also gave me his number in case I went out and needed to get back in again as I got the impression he didn’t man the desk all the time. To be honest, I just needed a bed for the night and looking around the general area as I arrived, I wouldn’t have wanted to have gone out anyway.
Summary: OK for groups or if you really need to stay somewhere. It’s not finished yet! Dec 2025
