Positive: The kitchen was well equipped, with a few supplies/leftovers too. Comfortable settee. Friendly and helpful owners - rebooted wifi twice. Free Netflix and Prime.
Negative: Intermittent wifi. Twin slabs of sponge for mattress, that gaped and dipped. Too soft. No internal doors only curtains. Ok for 2 persons, 4 would be awkward. Don’t expect to do a full laundry load, the machine is camp-style, unplumbed and very small.
Summary: Very eclectic, rustic and cosy. Good stay.

Positive: Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Cute and comfortable cottage. Nice location for day trips out.
Negative: We didn't realize we needed to bring our own towels; that's not in our cultural norm, and we have more to learn about the Caledonian ways as we travel here. We were grateful the hosts helped us find a good solution.
