Summary: A great place to escape to and in great location overlooking the countryside. the staff were every courteous and extremely helpful, the restaurant staff were efficient too. the menu was short but what was on offer was great. two small negatives, there was no facilities in the room to make a cup of tea of coffee, especially after a long journey.and the other negative was a curtain over a bath which meant having a shower without having the curtain sticking to your body was impossible.

Summary: Very clean well run hotel in a lovely setting. The room was simply furnished but comfortable and spacious. The two evening meals we ate in the restaurant were excellent.

Summary: A marvelous place! Overlooking a quiet valley in the Dordogne, this hotel occupies a beautiful site on the edge of a charming tiny town. All staff are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable—suggesting a privately owned little known cave with prehistoric art, for example. The air conditioning and food are great! Lovely swimming pool! You will be delighted you stayed here rather than noisy, crowded Sarlat-la-Canéda down the road!

Summary: A challenge to find up high was made worthwhile by friendly, attentive staff, who collectively helped fill in our sparse French. Knockout view of valley below and imposing Castlenau. Hotel restaurant was top notch, reasonable looked out over the valley. No need for a balcony room, if there are any, given the broad views from double rooms.

Summary: Hotel was ideally situated in the countryside within walking distance to the quaint village of Loubressac. The restaurant was excellent! The rooms are very basic with few decorations. Very friendly service. Flies seem to be a problem at this location for some reason, at least during our stay in mid June. Very close to other attractions like Rocamadour, caves of Padirac, Chateau du Castleneau.
