Summary: Louise, our host, was lovely! She was so attentive with our needs and the breakfasts were delicious! Our room was clean, had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. The house is very charming and decorated by Louise with love and care. We already miss you and Sweppy! When we return to Montreal we will definitely book again! Thank you so much for making our trip so memorable!

Summary: LOVED my stay here. I’d choose this place over any fancy hotel any day. Louise (spelling?) was so nice and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious. Again, Louise made sure there were options for my 2 year old. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

Summary: Charming old stone storybook house, sweet and friendly proprietors. It has the feel of a youth hostel, with a little outside garden, piano, shared bath and kitchen access. You get to old town via a walk and metro ride, and it's just fine if you are not in a rush. The vieux neigborhood surrounding the 'refuge' is interesting and there's a walking path nearby where you can see all the people who live here walking their dogs and so on....delightful!

Summary: This is a really charming place with a very kind and nice host. The place is steps away to nice restaurants, walking and cycling area. Some downsides of an old house are that rooms are small (at least mine was), with tiny fridge and tiny table, no ventilation in the room or in the shared bathroom (so it can only be controlled by opening/closing windows), water drainage in the sink and the bathroom could be improved as well.
