Positive: Nice cosy room, working heating, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good, and the staff were very nice and polite. Great stop if you want to skip the gites for a night on the Cele. Hotel is at the far end of town but the restaurant is directly opposite so you just start the next morning on the GR651 walking the Pech Merle. Very quiet

Negative: View wasn't very nice (car park) and wish the windows had curtains. Did appreciate the shutters though - so many places don't have either!

Positive: A clean and nicely decorated room with a new bathroom and a pleasant view from the window. The Pech Merle caves are superb and the Boulanger 200m down the road was one of the best I found on my travels!

Negative: The man who checked me in was offhand, the only time he spoke much was to tell me not to put my bag on the bed, or wear my shoes in the room. It doesn't really matter, however it colours your view of a place if you don't get a vaguely friendly welcome. BTW I always take my shoes off in the entrance to a room so I don't walk muck in!
