Positive: Le petit gretedar is a lovely little cottage right by the centre of Malmedy. Easy access to the town, restaurants and the hikes we’d planned to do. The accommodation is cost and comfortable. The beds were very good and the hosts were helpful.

Negative: We came during a snow storm weekend and it was very cold, as there is no central heating in the cottage it was very cold for a while until we got all the heaters on and blankets out. There is only one bathroom downstairs which is important to know if you are going with a group.

Positive: Very charming house and beautifully decorated with a modern yet traditional style. We also enjoyed meeting the neighbor’s cat!

Negative: It’s a very old house, so the steep narrow stairs up to the upper floors and cute garden might be tricky for some people. It might also be helpful to know that the (only) toilet is on the ground floor with the kitchen and lounge.

Positive: Lovely old property tastefully restored. Well equipped and perfectly situated for venturing into town for the evening.

Negative: There is nothing that can be done about this, but the ceiling height is quite low. My two companions were very tall and had to take care!
