Positive: Excellent location in Senlis, walking distance to historical center and restaurants; Senlis is great base to see nearby Chantilly and not to be missed. While property is older stately manor with history, it is very charming in a way that even if you struggle with some features (toilet in the hall), it grabs you and you want to come back for the serenity (huge grounds to walk) and that unique old charm and friendly owners. French breakfast with croissants, bread, jam, fruit and coffee and tea in the main dining room is quite memorable. For sure is a memorable experience and we'll absolutely consider coming back.
Negative: Toilet in the hall :( while the bathroom and sink are in the room:( Would also be lovely to have yogurt for breakfast as non-carb breakfast option.
Summary: A JEWEL IN SENLIS

Positive: Beautiful old family home full of character. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Quiet and a short walk into town where there are plenty of restaurants.
Negative: Nothing. This is an old family home not a chain hotel.
Summary: Lovely property, enjoyed our stay and would come back again when we stay just north of Paris again.

Positive: If this property is available for your dates - book without hesitation. These are memories that will stay with us for life! We went to Senlis during a very busy period - of the good ones, this was the last option. And one of the reviews was a little confusing - about the "toilet in the hallway". Spoiler: it is not! The toilet is in the bathroom of the room, hurray) And with such mixed feelings we got to paradise. The view of the house is stunning even from the driveway. The owner Sebastien is a young friendly man, speaks excellent English, helps with parking and comfortably introduces you to the house, which he and his wife TRULY share with guests. Here are the tables in the garden where you can sit under the linden trees with drinks, here is the kitchen (and umbrellas and even a panama hat for guests at the entrance), here is a luxurious staircase leading us to a luxurious dining room where a hearty delicious French breakfast will be served, here is a living room with antique books, sofas, a fireplace and fantastic views, and one floor above (they even have a special lift for the disabled) - 3 charming rooms. One of which we got. Huge windows with shutters that close with a remote control (yes, yes), an antique table, a fireplace, you want to look at every detail. A very delicately renovated house and room - the stairs do not creak and are covered with lush carpet. The bathroom in the room is very modern and comfortable, but still with the chic of old times. A bathtub on legs and a window into the garden! (they have shower in the next room, too) The views are fantastic. You will not believe your eyes. We walked around the park adjacent to the house several times. And we couldn't even roughly figure out if it ends somewhere ))) It's HUGE! On my husband's birthday, a gorgeous, gentle white cat came to our table under the linden trees. And he let us scratch his sides for the whole tea. The owners are wonderful and very tactful people.
Negative: the text didn't fit in the "what I liked" section. At first it seemed that the house was a little further from the center of magnificent Senlis than we expected. But no, really 3 minutes - and you enter the center (the road leads uphill, but this is not a problem even for my 50 kilograms overweight). In general, if you are lucky enough to find this accommodation facility on your dates - do not even think about doubting, book it. Thank you for this wonderful experience!
Summary: We felt truly welcome in this stunning castle

Positive: This place is full of character, in very large grounds and a few minutes walk from the main sites. The rooms are very large with furniture to match the style of the house, and all very comfortable. The breakfast room will amaze you. The staff are friendly and helpful. A really wonderful long weekend which we enjoyed very much, and we would recommend the place unreservedly.
Summary: Brilliant

Positive: Superb manoir set in an estate with lovely hosts and easy walking access to Senlis. The room was huge, decorated in period style. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom roomy and the water hot! The breakfast was lovely. Sebastien was a delight, as was his girlfriend. The estate was huge, with a lovely wild meadow surrounded by a wonderful forest walk. I's stay again in a heartbeat!
