Summary: I went with friends but I took a single room, great front corner of the building 50meter from the river and a second window looking up river to the bridge. We had booked dinner somewhere else so didn't eat at the hotel but it looked a very good choice of menu. Breakfast very good, and the staff charming. We stayed there because it is close to the ferry ports, about an hour.

Summary: We were not aware that the hotel would not be open until early evening on the Monday as our booking said we could check in after 2.30.This was rather disconcerting as there was nothing to tell us when the hotel would open and so we had to wander the town and keep returning to check. Thankfully it was not raining! However we were given a warm welcome , the service was good , dinner very good with an excellent breakfast.
