Positive: the location is beautiful and scenic, along a tributary of the seine. the hotel is beautifully and luxuriously decorated (our room had silk walls) and wifi was good. we had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. breakfast was perfect with delicious coffee, croissants, baguette, fruit juice and yoghurt.

Negative: we're in our 60s, and the climb up two steep flights of stairs wasn't great with luggage.

Positive: Beautiful, elegant country hotel between Rouen and Vernon (near Paris). Our jr. suite was very well-appointed; our grandson’s double room was very nice (when offered a jr. suite he declined). Both breakfast and dinner were excellent with almost unrivaled ambiance. Kari was very accommodating and helpful in planning visits to nearby castle ruin, churches, villages, etc. This is not an economy setting but it is worth every penny. This is our favorite hotel property in France and we’ve come to France ten times since 1990.

Negative: There is nothing I can think of that I dislike about Le Moulin de Connelles.
