Positive: Quiet location. A great deal of effort has been put into the décor and furnishings to create a lovely homely feel to this impressive property. Continental breakfast was excellent with fresh local products used.

Negative: Our room was the only one of the three available rooms without a TV although we had access to the main TV in the huge living room. It wasn't really a big issue for us but maybe for others.

Summary: Florence and François are excellent hosts.

Positive: Great location set in the beautiful French countryside. Nice and quiet. Breakfast every morning was fresh fruit with croissants homemade jams and bread. François and Florence Were fantastic hosts with lots of information on the local area for great places to visit.

Negative: Being an old stone building . The Room was very cold both day and night. Would be OK in Summer but not mid-Spring. Appreciate that heating such an old house must be very expensive. But please provide more blankets.

Positive: Absolutely everything! François and Florence, along with their dog Max and cat Spritz, couldn't have been any lovelier. They made us feel at home from the minute we arrived and were so friendly and helpful. The property is in a beautiful location and is fabulous! The room and property are very tastefully decorated, clean, and extremely comfortable. The pool was sparkling with plenty of room for being able to sit around. Breakfast was a feast of homemade juice, yoghurt, jams, honey, cake along with fruit, toast and croissant, and a choice of hot drinks. Breakfast is served outside on a large terrace overlooking the garden. François very kindly booked somewhere for us to have dinner on our 1st night and then on the 2nd night he cooked for us. The meal was wonderful, from the aperitif and nibbles to the 4 courses, with everything being made from local produce, including their own garden. A lovely evening! François was very helpful with suggestions of places to visit, and we followed his suggestions and had a wonderful time. This is a beautiful place to stay with lovely hosts. We have no hesitation in recommending it as a place to stay, and we will definitely be back!

Positive: Francois and Florence are amazing: warm and inviting hosts and their bed and breakfast is a gem. They produce their own eggs, honey, make their own jam, yogurt cakes, etc… so the dinner and breakfast is definitely a great experience. They also took the time to share the aperitive to talk about their region and give recommendations for our trip. The site is a beautifully renovated farm with large stone walls, a pool and a large communal table under an outdour patio. If visiting Cahors and having a car, we would definitely recommend this place. The value for money is unbeatable.
