Positive: The peace and quiet! Truly “Calme” and calming after a day’s driving. Glad we pre-ordered an evening meal as properly in the countryside. Beautifully cooked by Owner/Chef/Gardener/General Factotum Bruno.
Negative: Nothing
Summary: Beautiful lake and stream to sit or walk beside spotting the carp.

Positive: Madame was a great host and we were able to have an evening meal if we booked one in advance. This was very useful as the moulin is right out in the country. The breakfast and evening meal were very good, and the couple who host were keen to make everything as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. An oasis of calm. It is tricky to find though!
Negative: It was all good.
Summary: oasis of calm.

Positive: Hosts are lovely, everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was consistently good. The service was very good but equally we were left to our own comfort & activities & felt like we had plenty of privacy even though hosts live on site. They also offered us lifts to the train station when we were struggling with local transport. The hot tub and sauna exceeded expectations, and although it was stormy there were plenty of sheltered outdoor seating areas for us to relax.
Negative: It was very difficult to travel to and from the location. There is a local train station and taxi company but taxis generally in Tours were impossible to get hold of.
Summary: Relaxing, charming, comfortable and fun.

Negative: Nothing
