Positive: Nice room with well appointed bathroom. Pleasant welcome and attention when a “reader” was left behind.

Negative: From the description on web and photos attached we expected an hotel with dining room, not a gîte. Access and parking not ideal in cul de sac. Breakfast was adequate but being the only guests we could have been asked our preferences. Cold meat and cheese not necessary but another croissant and nice bread would have been welcome along with fruit salad.

Positive: This beautiful bed and breakfast exceeded my expectations in every way! We arrived late and our host Bridgite was extremely accommodating and made us feel right at home. Her lovely personality is a big part of what makes this feel like a true bed and breakfast vs. hotel experience. The large house has been thoughtfully designed with large guest rooms and baths, including electronic shutters, smart decor and many amenities that make this a truly unique property. We stayed in the Vintage room which was very large, and had a spectacular bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and double sinks. It was cool and rainy during our stay, so we didn't get to use the pool which is in a lovely garden area. However, we did enjoy sitting outside on the terrace for a glass of wine in the evening. We stayed here as a base for exploring in nearby Epernay and the Champagne region...perfect two days!
