Positive: Everything was great, including the decoration, bedding, jacuzzi, shower, cleanliness, and breakfast.

Negative: From around 11:00-2:00 there were lots of walking sounds and showering sounds from the floor above. I understand some travelers arrive late (I myself arrived at 10 and got the showering done for the three of us within the hour to minimize noise) but I don’t think the people above realized how much noise they were making walking around and talking and showering.

Summary: The room itself and the owner’s welcoming were perfect. The only downside were noisy neighbors!

Positive: Christophe has decorated for the season and generally each room exhibits old world charm! He is the chief cook and bottle washer and made us excellent breakfasts and a lovely several course dinner with dessert!

Negative: The drive to Thierville is a nice country break from the big city, but watch out the roads can be one car in width and approaching cars may need to pull over!

Negative: Needed fresh air through the room, room wasn't checked or replenish for tea coffee toilet rolls etc! For a premium room rate we have come too expected that!

Positive: Wonderful place to stay- our suite of rooms was tastefully decorated and furnished with a view over the lovely gardens. Breakfast and dinner were superb; thoroughly recommend the whole dining experience with wonderful freshly-prepared dishes cooked and presented by our host. Unfortunately we had only booked for one night en route to our final destination and wanting to visit nearby Le Bec Hellouin, but we will definitely return.

Negative: Nothing. Everything was exceptional.
