Positive: You get into another world: very elegant rooms, wonderful views on the pond, silence. You can sense the mansion as a living thing. The owners are charming.
Negative: An accessible closet or drawer would be useful for guests staying longer than us (we stayed one night)

Positive: Every aspect of our stay was perfect . Lovely chateau with beautiful antiques on display .Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean .Christine and her husband were the perfect hosts and served us with a traditional continental breakfast supplemented with fruits from their garden each day. Perfect location to visit surrounding villages and tourist attractions

Positive: A beautiful property. The bedroom reflected 18th Century charm, and the shower was superb, almost a work of art. The hosts, Marc and Christine, could not have been more helpful throughout. Breakfasts were adequate without being outstanding. Dinner is not provided but there are plenty of restaurants in the nearby seaside town of Granville. The zoo at Champrepus is superb and the town of Villedieu-les-Poeles is well worth a visit.
Summary: One felt privileged to stay there.
