Positive: Stunningly besutiful and well-kept place with two little houses and a secluded garden with great facilities for enjoying a holiday, including a heated pool. Situated on a south facing slope in the outskirts of a village with two bakeries and a couple of restaurants. Nice and communicable hosts and housekeeper. Everything was well prepared and clean upon arrival. If travelling as a family it works well also for six people where two can sleep in the living room of the bigger house. The sofa bed was actually really comfortable and there were blinds for the big windows/doors. The garden was so beautiful this time in the spring, full of flowers, and there were several seating areas, kitchen (with grill and fire place), as already mentioned the pool with area for relaxing on sun beds and even a separate playing area for boule/badminton! If you have a car this place works well as a staring point for trips to places/cities along the coast and also for exploring the inland mountain areas. But of course you will also want to just relax in this lovely and peaceful place!

Positive: Really gorgeous proper where a lot of attention has been put into the details. Loved the beautiful garden, with amazing views of the mountains, great outdoor swimming pool / eating area and pétanque / badminton area

Negative: Beds are pretty firm, could benefit from a mattress topper. Be aware that the property is on a steep hill, which wouldn’t work for those with mobility issues

Positive: The space and gardens are beautiful, everything we wanted from a stay in Provence.

Negative: The bathroom offers little privacy. It is the only thing we would have changed about the setting.

Positive: The living room and kitchen were good. The laundry was very good.

Negative: The bathroom and the toilet in the bedroom. The location is poor. The parking very poor. The nearest parking is up a steep road (80 plus steps at 40% gradient). The town is very quiet.

Summary: Not suitable as a touring location. OK if you wish to simply stay at the apartment and rest.

Positive: Fabulous garden and pool Lovely home from home Excellent communication from owner Close to a super market with fresh local produce

Negative: Steep hill with no direct parking on the property, my elderly mum fell getting out the car, if you have frail relatives it is not disability access friendly. Made dropping off luggage and shopping difficult too. A large chest freezer is needed at the back of the property for ice and frozen items such as ice creams for children. A toilet around the pool area, and a formed door on the toilet in The Chene bathroom.
