Summary: Enchantment! That is the word that comes to mind. The “villa/Maison” was straight out of a movie. The whole scene was perfect. Even the wear and tear made you feel like it should be there. The staff was kind and friendly. We stayed at the maison du chef which was basically a fully equipped house. Gourmet kitchen, beautiful living room, laundry room, etc etc. It’s easy to notice the details purposely maintained to reflect the original with the convenience of the modern adapted for comfort. Literally one of the best and most beautiful places we have had the pleasure to enjoy. The price is what it should be.

Summary: Exceeded our expectations. Very relaxing and secluded yet right across the road from town. The surrounding gardens and pool area very spacious. Room was large, very private and had a great country feel. We could have spent the whole time at the property and will seriously consider a repeat visit. Only challenge was finding the front gate :)
