Summary: Very tranquil and remote which was exactly what we were looking for. Our hosts were friendly and were very respectful of our privacy. The pool was wonderful and we found the night sky spectacular. A very special place to be. Thankyou Sylvie and Jacques

Summary: Le Gîte Étoilé is the quietest and most peaceful place we have ever stayed in. The accommodation is simple but adequate and we loved the surroundings - if you’re a lover of wildlife, you will not be disappointed. We brought our bicycles but the temperatures at the time were very high and it’s quite a hilly area! The local town of Cajarc is charming and has pretty much everything that we needed with a market every Saturday and every other Wednesday during the season. We had exclusive use of the lovely swimming pool, and Sylvie & Jacques were very discreet at all times. You will need to bring your own towels as none are provided. If simplicity and tranquility are what you enjoy on a holiday, then La Gîte Étoilé will not disappoint
