Positive: Spacious rooms, very good your youngsters looking clubs, they are just downstairs

Negative: Even though it says the location has parking, there is not. After paying for the accommodation, you are receiving a message that the key code will not be given if the 5£/person will be paid, tourist tax. The parking instructions took us to a very expensive parking 30£ for 6 hours we stayed there. No soap in the toilet.

Negative: The music from the bars outside was quite loud and lasted till well past midnight.

Summary: Convenient and central place to stay for a short visit. If you are a light sleeper, not so great.

Positive: Big apartment. Excellent location.

Negative: No central heating system. Only two small noisy fan heaters totally inadequate for the space. A panel heater was delivered after a second complaint. Poor sound insulation from the apartment above and probable noise from the bar/club below. Steep narrow stairs no other emergency escape a concern if the apartments were close to capacity. No coat hooks in the hall no wardrobes or cupboards for clothes. After completing the booking on booking.com we received the message below demanding city tax payment which was already listed on the original cost breakdown. "Welcome to Le Faubourg Suites, I'm sure you will find your stay thrilling in Antwerp. Once you payed the CITY TAX , YOUR BOOKING will be completed and you can start planning your lovely journey. CITY-TAX Unfortunately we have to charge each guest 2.97€ city tax/night. For example: 4 guests for 2 nights = 23.76€ Please make sure this is paid BEFORE your stay!! Use your booking confirmation number as reference." I paid as to be sure of our stay then complained and was told by message "Tourist tax is not the same as citytax." I checked with the Visit Antwerp site and in the office who confirmed there are not two taxes.

Summary: We made the best of of it , it could have been much better, double charge for City tax a rip off.
