Positive: We loved that Ann’s place was close to everything. She kindly reserved tix for us at her discounted price which we appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the place was clean. We received one bath towel and one hand towel each. The garden area is lovely. We had more luggage than most due it being a 23 day trip and an extra suitcase of formal wedding attire. That said, luggage or not, the accommodation was small even for two people. In warmer months, the outdoor garden area would be great for sitting outside. The decor/furnishings felt a bit tired, nothing some updating wouldn’t fix.

Positive: Absolutely perfectly located. Within two minutes walk of all the cafés, restaurants, galleries, shops and market place which make Lourmarin my little corner of Paradise. But tucked away, quiet and peaceful.

Positive: Attractive, cosy room, good shower, comfortable bed, nice area (comfy chairs plus table and chairs) outside room to sit. Lovely garden with swimming pool. Charming, helpful and welcoming host. Off street parking behind electric gates. Lovely bakery just next door. Literally three minutes wander to the centre of one of the most vibrant and attractive villages in Provence. Spoilt for choice with restaurants. This has to be the best value stay in the area.

Positive: We did not have the breakfast included, so cannot comment. The patio was so lovely- we enjoyed our host’s gift of a bottle of local wine on the enclosed private patio on the first night of our stay! The apartment is located in a very quiet area, adjacent to owners home. We had daily contact and always felt taken care of, even had an invitation to share a snack and drink with them, which was really very lovely. We had a nice time exploring town, many places to eat ( though we were there over All Saints Day… and many were closed for the weekend). The town of Lourmarin, and it’s chateau, along with nearby hill top villages provided us with many happy outings.

Negative: Maybe larger nightstands would be helpful, to hold a book, phone, and glasses.

Positive: Fantastic location and host. Anne went out of her way to help us and make our time in Lourmarin and the surrounds as perfect as possible.

Negative: The hedge needs a trim between the units and the beautiful garden, which we couldn't see!

Summary: Highly recommended and perfectly positioned for those who do not have transport.
