Positive: What we liked most was the peace and the beautiful location of the gîte in the French Ardennes. The view over the valley and the surrounding nature is stunning and immediately creates a sense of relaxation. The gîte is very complete and comfortably furnished. Everything was available: a well-equipped kitchen, neat bedrooms, a cozy living room with a wood stove and lovely outdoor spaces where you can enjoy the silence and nature. The house was also very clean and well maintained. Upon arrival there was a bottle of apple juice from the apple tree in the garden 😊 and we were able to join Marion for a tour of their nearby farm. A foal had just been born there two weeks earlier, named Quebec, a beautiful Ardennais breed.
Negative: Nothing at all.
Summary: A peaceful and comfortable stay in the French Ardennes.

Positive: Beautiful little 3 floor house in a sleepy location with amazing views over the valley. 2 terraces, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and lovely living downstairs with a fantastic wood burner. For heating purposes not necessary at all (although we had snow, ice, rain and sunshine) but definitely adding to the coziness and overal atmosphere! Marion is a very kind, responsive and welcoming host!
Negative: If I would be really picky I would ask for more than 1 set of towels per person for a 9 night stay, but having a washing machine available this wasn't an issue at all

Positive: The house give us so much privacy. The owner just live us keys in secure box. I like this tape of privacy 👌 This it's my 4 times in French ardens and definitely this the best house I rented in this area For sure I back to this place in the future:)
