Positive: Fabulous chateau being lovingly restored by Catherine and Bertrand. Such wonderful hosts with so many fantastic stories about the chateau and its past. A really unique, memorable stay on the way down to the alps. So much better than a run of the mill hotel! My family and I loved it! x

Positive: A superb location, very comfortable and distinctive. The chateau is superb, although a huge project. Catherine and Bertrand were very welcoming and informative about the building's history. It's the opposite of a corporate hotel!

Positive: The setting is great and hostess is very warm and welcoming this being a return visit. Breakfast is lovely. The orange juice is a must. The building and the rooms are full of character and charm and make for a unique experience.

Negative: It was very cold in the whole building and in our rooms as there's no central heating. This wasn't as much an issue during our previous stay in March but in December you can feel the difference and was uncomfortable. The water pressure is too low in the shower making it difficult to have a proper shower.
